![]() ![]() The reality is lately when i send my music to get mastered and cut it comes back not like I would have hoped( and this is from top notch houses like D&M,Optimum,Exchange). I've been doing this long enough to know all that. Izotope, Waves, and many others make plugin suites to cater to that.No offence but like i said in my post I did not want to get into this debate. Get "mastering" software if you are going to master yourself. If you do that, there really is no point in sending it to mastering in the first place. If you are going to send it off, most defiantly stay away from any sort of Limiter plugins or things of that nature. Any additional compression, eq, etc, that you do just limits the mastering engineer and prevents him from properly doing his job. To be perfectly honest, if you are going to send it off to master, don't touch it. ![]()
